AI for Operational Effectiveness

When the group set out to give their graduate trainees genuine, applied AI capability, not just awareness, they engaged L-25 Tech to design and deliver a five-day programme with a real measurement framework behind it.

The Brief

Equip 48 graduate trainees with practical AI skills they could apply to real operational work: prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, data analysis and predictive maintenance, and workflow automation. The programme culminated in a capstone project tackling a genuine plant-reliability or operational problem.

What We Delivered

A five-day programme for 10 capstone groups (47 participants), built around three assessment stages: a baseline knowledge check, a midline knowledge check on harder, applied material, and an endline experience survey. We also added a Project Management 101 session mid-programme in direct response to participant demand, and closed with a capstone presentation and awards ceremony.

In Their Own Words

“It was incredibly rewarding to see how my mechanical engineering background could directly shape big-picture business strategies to improve real-world plant reliability.”
Participant, Graduate Trainee

“I plan to use AI to analyze operational data, identify trends and anomalies, and present key findings and recommendations more clearly.”

The Honest Part

Not everything was perfect, and we said so in our own report to the group management. Internet connectivity during one remote session was the clearest logistics gap, and participants asked clearly for more time, especially for capstone presentations. We built that into our recommendations for the next cohort rather than leaving it out of the write-up. That is the standard every engagement gets held to.
